FRANCE BLAIS is a psychologist who has been working with veterans with operational stress injuries since 2004. She has been a member of the Quebec Psychological Association (Ordre des psychologues du Québec) since 1996.
She is currently working with OSI veterans as a private psychologist in veterans affairs. Her practice in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing (MI) is helping veterans with chronic psychiatric conditions related to OSI regain a better quality of life.
Her name is well known among many veterans and veterans affairs case managers. Her knowledge of veterans and their syndromes such as post-traumatic stress disorders help the veterans feel understood and become better involved in their treatment. She is helping Canadian veterans living everywhere on the planet to be able to enjoy their lives.
Her work has help numbers of veterans and their families regain trust between each other and live their lives fully and harmoniously with their families and loved ones.
The mandate of the OSI psychological consultation is to help Canadian veterans suffering from operational stress injuries live their lives fully and harmoniously with their families and loved ones.
In 2012, out of 60 000 Canadians, France Blais had the privilege to be recognized for her merit, and she received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her work to help the veterans.
